Pearl Izumi - Run Women's Tri Fly IV Carbon Cycling Shoe
From its beginnings as a cycle clothing company, Pearl Izumi has been innovating technologies that help you go faster and keep you comfortable while doing so. Its Tri Fly IV Carbon Shoes are the perfect mix of power-optimizing technology in a shoe that is ideal for the barefoot triathlete. The Tri Fly IV Carbon Women's Shoes feature a ventilated open-mesh upper that allows perspiration, as well as moisture, to easily evaporate. The uppers are lined so that you're able to wear them without socks -- as is standard for many triathletes. This lightweight upper is supported by synthetic straps that wrap around from the heel to the toebox. The uppers are built upon Pearl's PRO 1:1 Power Plate sole. This unidirectional carbon fiber sole creates a stiff platform to transfer power from your legs to the cranks. In addition, Direct-Vent technology is built in so that cooling air pushes up through the sole. This works in conjunction with the mesh uppers to keep your feet cool. The insole is dual-density EVA for support in the arch and cushioning in more sensitive areas of the feet. The Tri Fly IV women's shoes are not just shrunken men's shoes, they were designed with a narrower last and heel to accommodate a small and lower volume woman's foot. The Tri Fly IV Carbon is secured with Pearl's 1:1 Anatomic TRI closure. This two strap, hook-and-loop system features a wide forefoot strap that wraps from the inside of the arch around to the outside. A secondary strap secures over the toe. This system is designed to eliminate pressure from your forefoot so that your toes don't go numb. After all, you'll need to feel your feet for that 26. 2-mile run leg. The Pearl Izumi Tri Fly IV Carbon Shoes - Women's are available in whole and half sizes from 36. 0 to 43. 0 and in the colors White/white and Hot Pink/black.
